Mr
JG, Bristol
I
had worked for one company for most of my
adult life.
Like most people in full time
employment I thought it would never end.
I took for granted my car and my
holidays. We went out for a meal now and
again and I must admit that I liked a pint
at the local with my mates.
All this came to an end when the
plant where I worked, suddenly, almost
without notice, closed.
I was out of work and despondent
for almost two years. |
 |
Eventually
I got another job but during my time of
unemployment I had buried my head in the sand and
run up some considerable debts.
When I saw sense, I approached Daniel
Chandler and they couldn’t have been more
helpful and understanding.
They sorted out all my monthly outgoings
and secured me a consolidation loan that allowed
me to cope with my payments, that were reduced
from over £750 to less than £300 a month and get
back on my feet.
Those dark days seem a long time ago thanks
to their advice and expertise.
I would recommend anyone with financial
problems to grab the bull by the horns and take
action immediately to solve them by speaking to
the thoroughly decent people at Daniel Chandler.

Mrs
VM, Amersham
I
am a Primary school teacher who until
recently was happily married.
I will spare you the details of the
break up of my marriage but suffice it to
say that I didn’t handle it very well.
I got myself into a lot of debt and
tried to borrow my way out but with all
the other pressures I was coping with I
got into a worse mess. When I could find
no one else willing to lend me more I
thought that I would lose everything. |
 |
One
night in a fit of despair I put “financial help
required” into a search engine on my computer.
I found the Daniel Chandler site and filled
in the form.
One of their consultants took up my case
and handled all my creditors for me. My monthly
outgoings were cut by more than 60%.
This gave me some breathing space and the
time to take stock of my life.
Once my finances had been restructured by
the Debt Management Department, I was able to cope
with my monthly repayments and start living
responsibly again.
It was a bad time for me but I have learned
my lesson and with the help of Daniel Chandler I
am now enjoying a normal lifestyle once more.
Mrs ML, Perth
I
was the co-owner of a small but successful
business.
We were a partnership and traded in profit
for several years, after scrimping and saving to
make a go of things.
The success that we had enjoyed went to my
partner’s head and she started to spend beyond
her means.
I didn’t notice that anything was wrong,
as she was responsible for the bookkeeping side of
the business.
One day she didn’t come in to work and
offered no explanation why.
To cut a long story short I soon discovered
that we were in trouble, owing thousands of £s to
all in sundry, the Inland Revenue and VAT
included.
I borrowed and borrowed, trying to stave
off the inevitable, to no avail.
I saw an advert for Daniel Chandler and
decided to take some outside advice.
Their friendly consultant took her time to
assess my situation and then advised me to go into
IVA. It was not the ordeal that I had dreaded.
Their advice helped me to clear up the mess with
the minimum of fuss and get on with rebuilding my
life. I
wish that I had taken this step a good deal
earlier and saved myself a lot of money and
anguish. |
